Project Description
The Share the Beach organization hired GMS to redesign their existing website. They wanted something that reflected the life of the sea turtle, so colors and graphics were created with this in mind. Since the group requested a site that was rich in content, all the pages and sections were crafted with a wide range of information. It was also important to incorporate a way for people to donate to the organization as well as purchase items associated with the Share The Beach program.
The custom data entry form was developed to track sea turtles, including their nesting, hatching, and trip back to the ocean. This form and database enabled Share the Beach to add and edit information as needed. The data collected can then be exported and used by the Federal Wildlife Service for their national database. All aspects of the database had to correspond with the requirements of the Federal Wildlife Service.
