The GMS team developed and executed a targeted social media campaign for three months prior to the Alabama Council of Association Executives Annual Convention. The goal of the campaign was to increase event attendance and awareness via social channels, as well as to educate attendees on the importance of using social media in their own campaigns. GMS wrote posts, monitored and managed ACAE’s social network accounts, as well as acted as the keynote speaker at the convention. In addition, an onsite team acted as the Social Concierge, and rounded out the campaign with monitors showing convention Twitter feeds.
GMS monitors Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism social sites 363 days a year, writes a weekly blog post, covers numerous events through the year and manages campaigns and contests. Social sites include Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TripAdvisor, Pinterest, Instagram, Foursquare and Google+.
GMS manages Brett/Robinson’s social channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube, along with various social contests throughout the year. We also started and manage an ambassador program where guests post photos while they are vacationing onto Brett/Robinson’s social sites.
