Analytics, algorithms, demographics, followers. Social media can seem intimidating, especially if you are a brand that hasn’t fully embraced it yet. It doesn’t have to be that complicated, though.

How about 5 easy steps for you to try to make your social media posting a little easier?

1. Repost old content

That’s right. You don’t have to post something new every day. Not feeling creative? Post older content that has done well previously. There is a good chance many didn’t see it the first time, so you have another chance to reach more people.

2. Cross-post

If you make a video on TikTok, post it on Reels. If you share a post on Instagram, share it on Facebook. There is even a way to link your accounts for easier sharing on different platforms. Don’t feel like you need to share different posts on each platform.

3. Schedule your content

There are multiple apps, such as Sendible and Later, that you can use so you do not need to post in the moment. This is a great way to get multiple posts published. Facebook also has a scheduling feature if you are not interested in downloading a separate app.

4. Jump on trends

Use trends to your advantage. When you see a trend, make a quick video relating your brand to it.

5. Be yourself

Be authentic. The only way to do that is by being yourself. Don’t be afraid to show the real you and your personality.

Analytics, demographics, and all those elements will be there when you are ready. Following the tips above will help you be present on social media as you become more comfortable with the idea and process.
