Global Marketing Solutions managed and executed marketing activities for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism’s SEC BeachFest. In addition to developing a website, the GMS team kept the site relevant with fresh content and blogs, as well as produced and distributed promotional literature for industry partners. GMS also managed all aspects of the Merchant Partner Program, a cooperative marketing program that involved businesses in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach ranging from restaurants to golf courses and rental management companies.  The team also provided onsite photography services during the festival.

Global Marketing Solutions manages an array of marketing activities for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism, including online contests from conception to execution. From social media photo contests to trivia and surveys, GMS tracks results, monitors activity, provides detailed reports and analysis and communicates with prize recipients. We also manage the annual sweepstakes program, which is a cooperative marketing effort involving the destination marketing organization and its industry partners, in concert with a variety of media outlets offering promotional programs that are incentivized with sweepstakes prize packages.

Using search-engine optimized writing and detailed monitoring and reporting, GMS manages a successful news release program for Brett-Robinson, a leader in the Alabama Gulf Coast vacation rental management industry. In addition to the news release program, additional content management provided by the GMS team includes blog composition and social media writing for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other networks.

ACAE Social Concierge

The GMS team developed and executed a targeted social media campaign for three months prior to the Alabama Council of Association Executives Annual Convention. The goal of the campaign was to increase event attendance and awareness via social channels, as well as to educate attendees on the importance of using social media in their own campaigns. GMS wrote posts, monitored and managed ACAE’s social network accounts, as well as acted as the keynote speaker at the convention. In addition, an onsite team acted as the Social Concierge, and rounded out the campaign with monitors showing convention Twitter feeds.
