After developing a website for Visit Foley, the GMS team recommended that they also start sending a monthly email newsletter. The tourism bureau was onboard, so we created a responsive design template and content plan that features a main story, spotlights on businesses, and upcoming events.
Luna Beach Properties is one of the newest clients of GMS. One of the first projects we were tasked with was producing an email newsletter. Our content team created the outline and a plan for future newsletters. Our production department designed the responsive template and now deploys the newsletter each time through iContact.
Mandoki Hospitality, a long-time client, asked GMS to freshen up their newsletter content and design. We created a responsive email template for them that will adjust to the device the reader is using. This gives the newsletter maximum readability even on mobile phones. We also shortened the content and linked it to their blogs to increase engagement and click-throughs.
Using search-engine optimized writing and detailed monitoring and reporting, GMS manages a successful news release program for Brett-Robinson, a leader in the Alabama Gulf Coast vacation rental management industry. In addition to the news release program, additional content management provided by the GMS team includes blog composition and social media writing for Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other networks.
The GMS team developed and executed a targeted social media campaign for three months prior to the Alabama Council of Association Executives Annual Convention. The goal of the campaign was to increase event attendance and awareness via social channels, as well as to educate attendees on the importance of using social media in their own campaigns. GMS wrote posts, monitored and managed ACAE’s social network accounts, as well as acted as the keynote speaker at the convention. In addition, an onsite team acted as the Social Concierge, and rounded out the campaign with monitors showing convention Twitter feeds.
Etidings is the monthly newsletter for Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism. GMS writes the newsletter which consists of destination information, event news, a question and answer section and more. GMS has worked with the CVB to increase the open rate of the newsletter over the past few years.
